Xorus Patchinko SW Lure

The Xorus Patchinko features a slightly cupped face which provides popping even when using the walking-the-dog technique. Great for doing some splashing pushing forward water drops while using rod tip action with a sharp upwards motion. This slight splashing action creates topwater turmoil without extreme splashing like bigger mouth poppers do. The Patchinko excels with finicky fishes. A short twitch-twitch action followed by a pause of various lengths can be the most efficient way to fish this lure especially in calm waters. When predator fish are active, faster actions are the key to bring in more bites, so speed it up when fishing in these conditions. When the Patchinko lure gets closer to the angler, it’s recommended to give softer rod twitches to compensate for the limited amount of slack line needed for a side to side motion. This lure gives you the best results and action while using a fast action rod. It can be used at a range of speed retrieve, depending on fishing conditions and the fish’s behavior.
